Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our fresh-milled grains and pantry staples.
How do I know my flour is fresh?
Every bag of Flourist flour is marked with a 'Milled On' date. We stone-mill our grains in small batches to ensure you receive the most nutrient-dense and flavorful product possible.
Where are your grains sourced from?
We work exclusively with family farms in Canada and the Northern US. Each product page features a 'Meet the Farmer' section so you can see exactly where your food was grown.
How should I store my whole grain flour?
Because our flour contains the natural oils of the grain germ, we recommend storing it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
What is your shipping policy for perishable items?
We ship across North America via standard ground shipping. Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days to ensure your grains arrive as fresh as possible.
Do you offer returns on food products?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on food items. However, if there is an issue with your order or damage during transit, please contact us within 7 days for a resolution.
Are your products certified organic?
While we prioritize regenerative farming practices, many of our products are certified organic. Please check the specific product labels for the organic certification seal.
